Bawnbua Foods started life as a commercial deboning operation, but quickly developed into an exporter of beef and veal offals to the French retail and wholesale markets. The company grew quickly and was awarded the Queens Award for Export Achievement in 1996.
In 1998, we acquired a business in Lancashire in North West England. This proved a key turning point for the company enabling us to establish a strong foothold in the UK market.
In November 2008 the company moved from our original premises in Newry to new premises in Lurgan, Co. Armagh. We expanded our product range to include slow cooked sous–vide meats, and to supply chilled products across a range of sectors.
In Spring 2017 Eurostock foods became Bawnbua foods, a name chosen to reflect our Irish heritage and to position the company for further growth in UK and abroad.
Today we are a leading supplier of primal meats and a wide range of added value and cooked meat solutions.
